A superbly presented and detailed example of a Westfield XI. This sleek and striking evocation of the classic Lotus 11 racer was only kit-built between 2021 and 2023 and registered in January 2023. The price for the kit alone these days is now £24,000. The car uses an MG Midget/Austin-Healey Sprite 1275cc A-series engine with uprated twin SU carburetors, and is showing circa 500 miles on its odometer. The last owner reports that the car drives really well very quick and sounds glorious, This Westfield 11 has been really well built with much attention to detail, Paperwork includes the V5C, a stack of invoices for the build, the build manual and a Haynes MG Midget/Austin-Healey Sprite workshop manual, The car is beautifully finished in dark British Racing Green with a contrasting dark red interior, (Lotus racing cars from the period), Other features include 15 inch Minilite-style wheels, full racing type harnesses., The cockpit is very comfortable and there is room for the taller driver. The doors drop down on horizontal hinges to gain access., Out driving the car is a delight with exceptional steering, handling and braking as you would expect as the car weighs very little, , The chassis is a spaceframe like the original. The car is beautifully finished in dark British Racing Green with a contrasting dark red interior, aluminium lower panels with the remainder of the bodywork in fibreglass.
