Here is a small selection of letters and e-mails received from customers after purchasing vehicles from Sovereign Cars.  "I have recommended sovereign cars to all my friends" 'the guys at sovereign were a real pleasure to deal with - the Cobra I bought from them is fantastic. I grin so much when I am it. My face aches." Hi Nick & Nigel,   Just a quick note to say thanks for the Porsche 911 Turbo.   I am really pleased, to say the least. I grin so much when I am in it. My face aches.   I received a copy of every invoice from Porsche via the previous. The previous owner had spent over £25k on maintenance and warranties, even paying £150 a time to have the brake discs re-drilled!! A further £5k worth of warranty invoices. I’m just glad I didn’t loose £100k in six years.   I have had the wheels off the car so I could do a full paint correction and protection to the car, and was really pleased with the job you had done on the wheels, and even more pleased that you had all four done even though I hadn’t asked for that. With that in mind I decided to get the coolant leaks sorted locally rather then coming down to bother you about it.   I rang around a few local-ish specialists who were quoting figures of up to £200, and in the end went to a company called Finlay Gorham about 30 mins from me.  They put the car up on the ramp for the initial inspection to find the leak and, pushed a hose on fully and re-clipped it.  They said that it would have been difficult to see that the hose wasn’t on properly if it had been fitted from above. So that’s sorted then.   I didn’t get anywhere with Porsche regarding the corrosion on the roof strips despite a complaint to Porsche GB.  Apparently they are ‘trim components’ and are not covered by the 10 year anti corrosion warranty, ridiculous. I am getting Porsche to do them anyway as they only wanted £200, and the car is going in for some mechanical warranty work so they can do it all at the same time.   Interestingly, the car has never had the clutch replaced, which at 85k you really would think it should be knackered.  I have read that they normally last 30-70k.  So a testament to how well it has been driven and looked after.  I have also had the paintwork measured and every panel is original and untouched.   Thanks again, Andrew Garnett "Thanks for your honesty with the car" Larry Got the Cobra home safely. No-one likes to have a major problem directly after purchasing a car, but one of the reasons for buying from a dealership is that they should take ownership of the problem and fix it under warranty if one occurs, without any hassle. Sadly this is often not the case with some dealerships, however, when I had a problem with my engine, the service provided by everyone at Sovereign was great! It's nice to see quick problem ownership and a steely determination (and a major rebuild) to get to the bottom of a somewhat obscure problem in order to leave me with an engine as good as new. Just a note to say thank you Nick and Larry for all the help, and fantastic service you have given to me after buying my beautiful car some 4 weeks ago. It is true to say that there have been a number of minor problems, including a slipping clutch which Nick has kindly helped me with despite my mechanical ignorance.   I contacted Nick and he advised me to take the car to AK Sportscars in Peterborough, these guys were great, they waited after hours and looked at the car straight away, showed me the problem and cleary explained in a way which I understood, that only an adjustment was needed, not a new clutch!!!   The guys at AK were friendly informative an honest, although they did give me a bollocking because the car was dirty, this showed me the proud passion they have for their business.   The next morning the car was ready by 11am, all fixed. They had also gone to the trouble of cleaning the car for me!   I asked John how much I owed him, and he informed me that Larry had contacted them the night before, to say that whatever was wrong with the cobra ,to fix it and forward the bill to Sovereign   It is easy to be pleasant in business when you are selling something, it is rare to find people that totally stand behind the products/services that you have purchased from them when things go wrong.   I can highly recommend both Sovereign and AK, they are both honest, trustworthy and passionate about their business, an obviously care about the "customer experience."
