CHALLENGER, JAGUAR 'E' TYPE REPLICA 1972
The Jaguar E-Type holds an iconic place in history and when it was launched at the 1961 Geneva motor show, it took the motoring world by storm. Original quality examples are sought the world over, hence the reason a English company decided to recreate this piece of automotive art. The companies name was Triple C, and the E type replica was named the Challenger. These recreations are now extremely rare and sought after, even being accepted by the Jaguars owners club as a genuine replica of the iconic E type.
This particular example is finished in stunning Wedgwood blue metallic with a royal blue soft top. Powered by the silky smooth Jaguar 4.2 litre straight six driving through a manual transmission. Progress is rapid and the sound from the twin chromed tail pipes is absolutely intoxicating. The chrome work is in excellent condition, complemented by spoked wheels with Jaguar knock off spinners. The interior is upholstered in navy blue with many period details, such as the wood rimmed steering wheel, Smiths instrumentation, Jaguar horn push and switch gear. Utilizing many original Jaguar components this Challenger has to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated.
Showing only 14,200 on the odometer, she has a date of first registration of 1972, hence holding sought after Historic status. This provides free road fund license in the UK and an excellent export opportunity. She will not be in stock for long so please make an appointment to view as soon as possible if you are interested.
