JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES 3, 5.3 LITRE V12, AUTO. 1972 'K' Reg.
Without question the Jaguar E-Type is one of the most collectable British sports cars ever made. Its iconic lines were unveiled to the public in 1961, where Enzo Ferrari exclaimed it was “The most beautiful car ever made”.
In production for 13 years, numerous variants were produced culminating in the much acclaimed series 3 built between 1971 and 1975. The example on offer here is one such example and is 1 of only 2,115 RHD Coupes produced over the four year production run. Powered by the legendary Jaguar V12, output was a heady 272bhp at 5,850rpm and coupled to the silky smooth automatic produces an extremely rewarding, yet refined drive. Combined with sought after Series 3 upgrades such as improved braking, power steering and subtle body styling changes makes this an ideal collectors car.
Finished in old English white coachwork and black upholstery, makes this a rare yet perfectly complemented combination. Showing just 62,000 miles on the odometer, the car comes with numerous MOTs and servicing receipts illustrating just some of the monies spent to date.
Owned by the last owner for 11 years, this has been a cherished car in every respect. Presented in excellent condition inside and out, including excellent chrome, glass, trim, wire wheels etc. This E-Type represents a superb investment and must be seen to be fully appreciated. Still a delight to drive, especially thanks to the silky smooth V12, automatic transmission and power steering.
Please feel free to call the show room with any specific questions you may have, or why not come to view the car. This is without question the finest and totally unmolested series 3 we have ever stocked.
2011 is the 50th Anniversary of this iconic car, hence E Types are selling quickly. This example will not be in stock for long.
