ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SHADOW I 1975 'P' Reg.
The Silver Shadow I is one of the most desirable post 70s Rolls Royce models ever to be produced. Offering luxuries such as disc brakes and independent rear suspension for the first time, the most dramatic development was the use of a hydraulic ride system. This was the Shadows crowning glory, with the resulting luxurious ride being the envy of all of its competitors. Powered by a silky smooth 6.75 litre V8 mated to an automatic transmission, this classic simply wafts along. Amazingly only 16,717 examples were ever built, many of which have now been permanently retired making the example on offer here extremely rare and desirable.
Owned by the previous keeper for 9 years this Rolls is finished in glorious Wimbledon white coachwork and the quality chrome-work still glints in the English summer sun. As for the leather upholstery, this can often fall into poor condition and detract from an otherwise excellent example. However, this Shadow has just been professionally connolised in sumptuous Cornsilk which perfectly complements the paintwork. Typical features which are associated with this model include the classic radiator, quad round headlights and of course the flying lady. The interior is upholstered in the finest leather, which complements perfectly the polished walnut fascias and inlaid door cappings. She is even equipped with the original 4 channel tape player!
Offering the refinements one would expect from a Rolls Royce, this Shadow comes with the original owners manual, dozens of servicing receipts and MOTs for the last 16 years. These support the incredibly low mileage of only 51,900 miles. If you are looking for an inexpensive addition to an automotive collection, or simply adore the classic Rolls Royce look, then this Silver Shadow is for you. Only
